Environmental Assessments
M2 Technologies, Inc. (M2), in collaboration with Kansas State University's (KSU) Center for Hazardous Substances Reserach, provides environmentally focused project planning, management, and execution services exceeding DoD regulations. The Environmental Assessments (EA) team performs Life-Cycle Environmental Assessments (LCEA), Programmatic Environmental Safety and Health Evaluations (PESHE), and other analyses activities that are critical in supporting the development, approval, and utilization of non-lethal and non-traditional technologies for military and cilivilian operations. The "Environmental Assessment Marketing White Paper" details the EA team's capabilities, methodologies, and past work.
The EA team uses EKAT (Environmental Knowledge and Assessment Tool), which serves as a decision support software tool to forecast and address negative environmental impacts of military systems in compliance with DoD Directive 5000.02 and 3000.3. The software tool was developed by M2, KSU, and CABEM Technologies with funding provided by the United States Marine Corps.
